The renovations will now start on 01 July 2018, instead of 01 May, 2018 as planned.
The new schedule of work will proceed accordingly as follows:
01 July 2018 to 15 May 2019
Closure of Overwater and Superior Overwater categories. As a reminder, 18 additional Overwater bungalows will be built near the existing ones. Superior Garden and Beach units will remain open during that time.
01 December 2018 to 31 May 2019
Renovation of the common areas (lobby, restaurant, pool, pontoon)
01 December 2018 to 15 February 2019
Complete closure of the hotel
16 February to 31 May 2019
During that specific period, Sofitel Bora Marara Beach Resort will provide guests with a temporary air conditioned restaurant. Guests will also have complimentary access to the Sofitel Bora Private Island (common areas, restaurant).
01 June to 31 October 2019
Closure of the Superior Garden and Beach categories. Re opening of the Overwater and Superior Overwater units.
