TIH_Tikehau Fafarua Lodge Private Island.6

Tikehau Fafarua Lodge Private Island is at a 30-minute boat ride from the village, far from its daily activities. The product is based on Motu Tetaraire model, with an “all-inclusive” package, including exclusive private access to the motu and its house, meals, excursions and service staff.

The house is of a simpler construction in a typical island style, nicely decorated, well-equipped and airy. It can take up to 8 adults in three colorful bedrooms furnished in the Polynesian style, including house linen embroidered with the effigy of the Manta Ray (Fafarua). It offers a spacious living area looking out on the lagoon, with an adjoining fully-equipped kitchen.
A few steps away are a large and beautiful shared bathroom made exclusively from natural materials, and a delightfully convivial traditional “Fare Potee” (outdoor covered deck).

The activities offered by the property managers during the stay range from the famous “motu picnics”, fishing and discovery of the atoll natural treasures to surfing sessions; all these made available according to guests’ desires and the weather. Please note that specific theme-based stays can also be organized.

This place will be a delight to those that just love lazing about, but also to soul-seekers, families and groups of friends who can enjoy an unspoiled location in privacy, full of discoveries. The owners, Evalina and Patrick, live at the far side of the Motu and welcome guests in true Polynesian style. They will always be around for meals, excursions and day-to-day assistance while leaving guests in privacy at the villa.

With top-of-the-range luxury or a more affordable option, this new and emerging accommodation offer in the Tuamotu islands represents a unique opportunity to make the most of our islands without the traveler’s daily hassles like organizing activities, keeping to timetables, etc.
